The Difference Between Magnetic Seal And Mechanical Seal Stirring The performance of magnetic seal drive and mechanical seal drive are different due to the different sealing methods, such as pressure bearing method and stirring speed. The magnetic seal drive uses the internal magnetic steel method to drive the stirring shaft to rotate. In comparison, the magnetic drive stirring avoids the gap between the stirring shaft and the kettle cover when the mechanical seal drives the stirring. The following points are better for this. 1. For reactions with a pressure greater than 2MPa, that is, the materials in the reactor, especially gas materials, are easy to leak out during the process of using mechanical seals to stir the high pressure reactor. When flammable, explosive and toxic gas materials are used in the reaction process, Magnetic seal drive should be used. 2. Because the mechanically sealed reactor adopts a tight pressure sealing method on the stirring shaft and the lid, the speed of the stirring shaft is very low, and it cannot be used in the reaction where the material is stirred at a high speed, while the stirring speed of the magnetically sealed reactor It can reach 1000 revolutions per minute.
